These lights were up for Christmas but I think I shall keep them there. They look so pretty at night.

Apparently my own great grandfather had lots of beautiful paintings and antique furniture – but they were all burnt in the 1940/50s when his ancestors/everybody went modern! Sacrilege!
Thankfully I have a couple of small photographs of him but that’s all!

This is probably the best Christmassy photo I’ve seen – leave the lights, this is so pretty; especially as the evenings are so dark.
